This game will be played with CareBear play strongly encouraged.

The CareBear Option:
The following guidelines describe the CareBear Option. Note that CareBear
is only a style of play, not a variant. As player behavior
is difficult to regulate, a CareBear game will be treated as a normal game
for purposes of GMing.

CareBear players are encouraged to follow the principles of the CareBear Oath.

CareBear Oath:
1) I will look to ensure the success of my allies above all else.
2) I will respect all treaties and alliances I make.
3) I will never break any promises I make.
4) Should another player break a promise, I will join forces with all other
   nations to destroy the non-CareBear.
5) I will not seek solo victory. Sharing the world with my CareBear
   friends is my only goal.

Of course, there is some room for flexibility under the CareBear
system. I have seen players achieve victory without breaking any deals,
and a victory achieved at the last moment by a non-CareBear stab is
legitimate.
The CareBear Option is being offered as a counterpoint to the
CutThroat Option.
CareBear is somebody's trademark, so let's be careful.
